Our Port Technology gives you a fresh new approach to top bracing and soundhole placement that results in a noticeable improvement in sonic performance. It is dynamic, responsive, and has a big, bold sound. The Forte Port Koa 10 features an aggressive cutaway, giving you more fingerboard access and great balance. Michael Kelly present the beautifully unique Forte Port: an electro-acoustic steel-string guitar with two unusually-placed sound holes and a specially-developed top bracing pattern for sublime sound with rich resonance for expressive playing styles. To amplify the sound the way it deserves to be amplified, Michael Kelly have opted for a Sonicore piezo pickup and a matching Presys preamp with built-in tuner from the renowned Fishman. Since this is the Forte Port X version, the top, back and sides are all made of distinctively alluring quilted maple.
