In the form of the Sälen Classic NX 6, .strandberg* present their own take on the very first solid-body guitar built back in the fifties. In short, this high-end headless axe combines the vintage with the futuristic for a bold yet trusty build, sporting a traditional Butterscotch Blonde paint-job and a black pickguard. And so you can take it gigging straight away, Strandberg Guitars even include a Venture Gig Bag and a multi-tool.

The Sälen Classic NX 6: Ergonomic Design
One of the key features of the Sälen Classic NX 6 is its quarter-sawn maple neck, which comes reinforced with carbon fibre to ensure superb stability. Playing comfort is a top priority for Strandberg, who've also opted for a patented EndurNeck™ profile as well as a multi-scale design where the scale length graduates from 25 inches at the high strings to 25.5 inches at the low strings. This, combined with the modern 20" radius of the birds-eye maple fretboard and the 24 Jescar 51100 Stainless Steel frets results in a degree of playability any conventionally-crafted electric guitar can only dream of.

The .strandberg* Sälen Classic NX 6 shapes an astoundingly resonant acoustic foundation sound, courtesy of its unique neck and a swamp ash body. Plugged in, the high-quality Suhr™ Custom Classic T bridge pickup and Suhr™ Classic T neck pickup take over to deliver maximum authentic twang and bite, without any shrill trebles. The end result is an instrument you can take in any stylistic direction, be it shoe-gaze rock or outlaw country.

With this Pro Plus Series model, Jackson take the Dinky DKA to an even higher level. This tight electric guitar features an ebony fretboard with a compound radius and twenty-four stainless steel jumbo frets for top-notch playability. Meanwhile, the 'A' in DKA refer to the arched top, which only further enhances the playing feel and helps do justice to the high-gloss finish. So you can get it to gigs in one piece, this solid riff-machine comes including a matching gig bag.

The Jackson Pro Plus Series Dinky DKA: Broad-Range Sound
The body of the Pro Plus Series Dinky DKA is made of okoume, a tonewood that's a tad less dense than mahogany and shapes a slightly softer tone. The body has been outfitted with a set of direct-mount Seymour Duncan pickups, namely the JB/'59 combo. Add that to the fitted five-way pickup switch and the Floyd Rose 1000 Series Double-Locking Tremolo bridge, and you're all set to drop brutal dive-bombs in any style.

Following the resounding success of the acoustic reworking of the Telecaster, this fresh hybrid offers an innovative instrument to all Strat lovers. The Tele Acoustasonic came loaded with forward-thinking tech, Fender-level build quality and an incredibly flexible sound and, since the Strat-style incarnation of the Acoustasonic comes with the now hallowed Fishman-Fender-developed Acoustic Engine at its heart, this model is no different.

The American Acoustasonic Stratocaster: You Can Take It Anywhere
Besides the preamp, an Under-Saddle piëzo pickup has been installed to faithfully register the acoustic sound; a magnetic Fender Noiseless N4 single-coil is mounted at the bridge, and an 'Internal Body Sensor' inside the body ensures that the natural resonance is captured in full. To gain access to the mind-boggling range of sounds this three-piece electronics combo produces, it's worth getting to know the five-way switch. With seven acoustic and three electric guitar sounds on offer, as well as the pickup configurations available, experimentation is not just invited but actually demanded.

Electric Playability
This Fender Acoustasonic Stratocaster has the butter-smooth feel of a satin-gloss finish and comes fitted with a highy playable electric-guitar-esque, Modern Deep C-profile neck. Other more traditional Strat details include the lightly bevelled forearm contour across the top of the body, and just like the classic Strat, the shape and depth of the body of this guitar is just as comfortable whether sitting or standing. Playing entirely unplugged is of course possible due to the SIRS sound hole, and this accomplished guitar comes complete with its own form-fitting and luxury Fender 1225 gig bag.
