Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 6,8 Zoll OLED, 144 Hz bei mehreren Anbietern

Vom 14. März 2024 bis 14. April 2024 lockt Asus mit einer Early-Bird-Aktion: Kunden erhalten 100 Euro Rabatt auf die unverbindliche Preisempfehlung (UVP) des neuen Zenfone-Flaggschiffs. Das Smartphone ist bei den führenden Anbietern erhältlich und mit zusätzlichen Rabatten kann der Preis noch weiter gesenkt werden. Beispielsweise bieten Cashback-Aktionen wie 1,4% bei Shoop, CB Rabatt bei Cyberport oder Payback-Punkte bei Amazon weiteres Sparpotential.

Ich teile diesen Deal, weil das Zenfone in diversen Tests hervorragende Bewertungen erhalten hat. So hat es beispielsweise in der Smartphone-Bestenliste von Chip den zweiten Platz erreicht. Angesichts der Preise anderer hochkarätiger Smartphones erscheint das Zenfone preislich durchaus wettbewerbsfähig.

Allerdings gibt es auch einen bedeutenden Nachteil der den Preis für mich relativiert:

Asus bietet momentan lediglich zwei Jahre Updates für die Android-Version an. Meine Recherchen ergaben keine Anzeichen, dass sich diese Update-Politik in Kürze ändern wird. Vielleicht gibt es ja eine Lösung für dieses Problem die ich nicht kenne. würde zumindest gerne ein Smartphone für 4 Jahre mit den aktuellsten Updates besitzen.

Weitere mögliche Nachteile bezogen auf dem persönlichen :
- zu groß
- Kamera

Würde Asus seine Update-Laufzeit verbessern, wäre das Zenfone für mich persönlich ein "No-Brainer".
